Slacker Extraordinaire at your service…

Remember that photography workshop I went to, ohhh, back in APRIL!? Well, I finally got a chance to edit some of the pictures. I took around 800 pictures in 3 days!! So finding the time to go through all the photos was proving to be impossible. I did, however, find some really cool software that really helped me out. It easily lets you view, rate, and categorize RAW files just like PhotoMechanic but it’s FREE! It’s called ViewNX but it’s only available for Nikon users.

Anyway, here are some photos from the 3 days. It was an awesome experience. I can’t say enough about Amy, Michael and Fred. They are all truly gifted photographers! And I’m so glad I got to meet them.

Baby Jack

This is my good friend Melissa’s brand new baby boy, Mr. Jack! He was the cutest, sweetest thing and I LOVED holding him…gave my rusty arms some much needed practice! This is the first newborn shoot I’ve done in about a year and I was quickly reminded of how hard it is! It’s very rewarding to see all the hard work pay off because I think we got some awesome shots!

The cutie big brother. What a rascal! lol…

And how gorgeous is she? Love, love her long hair.

Lake Trip

I must apologize in advance for the ridiculous amount of pictures in this post. You see…this is my family and I know as much as they love me…they hate my camera. However, this day there was no whining, no eye rolls, no huffs of frustration when I pulled out the trusty Nikon. The stars must have been perfectly aligned and the Gods were surely smiling upon me, for they indulged me and did what ever I asked them to do! It was AWESOME!!!!

Annual Darrian & BJ visit

My favorite part of summer is when Darrian & BJ come to visit. I get to see how much they’ve grown, which is always a shock! And Asa LOVES playing with his cousins. He is especially attached to Darrian. Here are a few photos just hangin out in the backyard.



And of course Frank is lovin all the extra attention he’s getting. You can almost see him smiling here.
