Film Friday // Make a wish

film fridays: a personal project where I put down my digital camera and share images created on film.

In my many travels through the world wild web, I somehow stumbled on the Marc and Angel Hack Life blog where they share inspirational/motivational tips for life. There are a million blogs out there like this but this one really struck me. Their positivity wasn’t just Pollyanna “put on a happy face” superficial advice. It was deeper than that. It had more of a practical way about it that I identify with. So much, that after I would read it, the solution to dealing with life’s ups and downs and chasing down a dream seemed so… obvious. Their blog posts can be somewhat lengthy and I don’t always (never) have time to read them but what I REALLY like is their twitter feed. I’m on twitter by the way, in case you want to follow me! @jenny_mccann  Since twitter restricts you to 140 characters, I can just pop on their twitter whenever I need a quick pick-me-up and read nuggets of wisdom like this:

“Just because something isn’t happening for you now doesn’t mean it never will be.”

“If you really want to do something, you’ll find a way. If you don’t, you’ll find an excuse. “

“It’s better to have a life full of mistakes that you learned from, rather than a heart full of regrets.”

Check them out! Their blog is definitely worth reading, too!

And here is my boy on his birthday blowing out his 7 flaming candles! Shot on Ilford Delta 3200. Ridiculously perfect grain. <3  I tinted this by the way…whadaya think?
