We were surprised with snow here in Big D on Christmas Eve making this my very first white Christmas. It was awesome! Here are a couple of snaps. This is our backyard. And our dog who was literally frolicking in the snow. hehe. I wish I had caught that on video. For an old dog he still...

- Great pics of a great Christmas! I love the Christmas card and have shown it to every poor soul who crossed my threshold...it got rave reviews! (Naturally!) I am proud that Asa is saving all of us in his Red Ranger gear and that Chloe will be the next Lady GaGa...Frankie looks like a pup in the snow...who knew? Have fantastic New Year....Love to all you McCanns....

A few weeks ago I assisted a photographer friend of mine at a very small and sweet little wedding in Dallas. The wedding had minimal details so I really tried to focus on the portraits. Here are a few of my favorites…

I was cleaning up my desktop and found this forgotten gem of Gus, a friend of mine’s Bassett. It just makes me laugh. He looks so sweet and innocent. Oh how looks can be deceiving. hehe. And look at that peanut head!
Just wanted to share this wonderful family I photographed last weekend. I can’t tell you how much fun I had…family sessions are the BEST! Awesome parents, awesome kids, plus we had a crisp, clear, autumn day with killer light! What more could a girl ask for?

I know, I know…you’re probably REALLY tired of seeing Chloe photos. But I just wanted to share these real quick. I’m a FIEND for comparison photos…so I had to do the 12 month mark. You can really see how much she’s grown!
She’s pretty squirmy these days so that last shot was tough!

nothin like getting your ring cleaned to make you fall in love with it all over again. I had the prongs replaced because the stone was becoming loose and they gave it back to me all shiny and new looking! This ring was passed down from my husband’s great-great grandmother. The papers we have on it...

- Thank you very much! Amy, it's called the Misha Lulu Organic Hen Dress. I should have mentioned I saw this dress/shopping cart combo somewhere on Flickr way back when I was pregnant for Chloe and just HAD to have it! You should be able to find it online.
- These are so cute!!!!!! I love the one of her helping Dad work on the car. She is ADORABLE.
